Hello everbody my name is levi and today i will be showing my vocabulary chart.

a vocabulary chart is also known as a word investigation chart. the vocabulary chart has four words on the side and you have to write in three boxes the first you have to write the sentence the word is in the second is when you say "i think this word means..." then say what you think it is the third is when you say what The word actually means

here is my vocab chart and as always

Word	I have never seen this before	I have seen this word before	Write the sentence the word is used	I think this word means…..	Expert definition….
Petroleum			There made from petroleum, which is a non-renewable resource.	I think this word means a material that is used in plastic	A liquid mixture of hydrocarbons
Banned			Taiwan banned not just plastic bags.	I think this word means when you get kicked from something your permanently kicked	officially or legally prohibit
Biodegradable			They can’t be burned safely because that causes posionis gasses and pollution they are also not biodegradable	I think this means when something can't be destroyed without releasing gasses that cause	capable of being decomposed
Contaminated			Plastic and bags are often contaminated by paper	I think this means when you are trapping something with another object	having been made impure by exposure to or addition of a poisonous or polluting substance

Hey everybody. This week we have been reading a book called Tims clean up. It is about messy boy that then tricks his friends to clean the house.

We have also seen a text to self a text to self is when you read a story then something happens and it reminds you from when you did it. for example if the book said someone fell of there bike it may remind you if you fell off your bike.
